I spent more time nude in 2021 than any year previous. I sleep nude 95% of the time and I mostly work from home and am nude a great deal of the time, unless we have a Zoom meeting.
There were times that we would spend the the whole day in the buff, unless company was over. We also dress when we have to go somewhere… We’ll talk about nude driving in a future blog post.
We bought an above ground pool and we have skinny dipped most of our time in it.
I’m not as shy or apprehensive as I used to be. I’m also glad that my fiancée is getting into being nude, although she is still a tad bit apprehensive and self conscious, she freely will strip and get into the pool daytime or night.
We are having a good time with our self discovery as nudists, and hopefully we’ll be leaving the closet behind in the not too distant future.

It is a new year, 2021, and hopefully we can return to our original plan of expanding our journey into naturism and traveling with confidence.
Right now, during the pandemic, we are taking small steps, going naked at home at every opportunity. We generally venture into the backyard comfortably because of the seven foot high block fence that surrounds the property, blocking the neighbors view from all sides.
I mostly sleep naked and she sleeps in the buff when she is with me. We are just beyond the point of becoming comfortable with casual nakedness together.
Our plans for 2021 is to continue the adventures and will include activities hiking and camping, etc. We will chronicle our adventures here.
Yes, I have been busy with life, which is why I haven’t written anything for this blog until now. But, I have spent more time without clothes. Doing chores around the house and out in the backyard clothing free… The longest was a whole weekend… I feel great!
There is a sense of freedom being naked. I have relayed that to my fiancé, and she is more accepting now. She is becoming more comfortable being without clothing, but only around me. She’s taking baby steps being comfortable with her body unclothed, and I respect that and will not push. She wants me to take an artful photo of her her and wants to put my photography skills to the test.
Even though the year itself has been a disaster for our travel plans since March, we are working within the bounds of social distancing and staying safe.
Ever since a young age I have nearly been obsessed about being without clothes whenever possible.
When I was home alone, the clothes would come off and I would feel completely free. I slept that way from time to time when I was younger, more when I lived on my own, a lot when I was married.
As far as outdoors, I would have to be a bit strategic when I would venture outside of the house into the backyard, especially when I was a much younger man, because back then I to do so that I wouldn’t be seen by my nosey next-door neighbor, who had her own issues with nudity, but she was coming from a different angle, I don’t think that it was because of freedom when she disrobed, it was because of some strange voodoo rituals that she would perform in her own backyard in the early morning hours before sunrise. But that is a story for another article that I’ll work on in the near future.
Today, my home has a seven-foot block wall surrounding it in a neighborhood of single-story dwellings, so, unless someone is fixing a roof, or painting their house, I’m really free to roam nude in the backyard and have for hours on end, day and night.
I’ve successfully kept my nudists ways to myself for several years, I still found some alone time and stripped. When I was in a hotel room, I stripped off my clothes, I sleep naked whenever possible.
Last year, I started to reach out to clubs and nudist sites learning that I was not alone. There were many who were “closet nudists.” It felt good to reach out to people. I am not ready or comfortable to go out publicly and hanging out with other nudists but would prefer a clothing optional setting.
I recently fell in love and am in a committed relationship with a beautiful and lovely woman. I confessed to her about my closet nudity and she was very accepting. She even practices with me on occasion. She also agreed to travel with me and vacation at a few clothing optional resorts. We are not ready to go completely public yet, if ever, but we will enjoy our time together with or without clothes, experiencing life along the way.
This is why I created this blog, to chronicle our journey and our travels.
